This course is taken by a very diverse group of students, coming from a wide range of countries and with a wide variety of experiences of computer technologies in general and social media in particular. This seminar is our first and best chance to get to know each other a little better and this is also the reason why it is important for you to go to you "regular" seminar group at this specific occasion.
The instructions for seminar assignment 1 is now available in Bilda (in "Bilda/Documents/Seminar assignments").
Do note that this is the first time I ever try something like this - I hope everything will turn out fine and that we will not be visited by technical "gremlins" of any kind. Please read and follow the instructions carefully to decrease the chance of any technical problems.

Great that you like it. I did it once myself half a year ago but have no idea how it will work in a lecture/seminar setting. I just hope there are no technical glitches, but very much look forward to "get to know" all of you a little bit better next week!

How is the sequence of presentations determined? Is it according to our names, time of uploading slides or somthing else? :)

ReplyDeleteI think time of upload is best (most practical for me), then I can just add presentations as they come along. I want early uploaders to be rewarded, is it better to present early or late?
I personally think presenting early is better.
ReplyDeleteOk. Let's say earlier is better. So, you will present in the order you upload your presentations.
ReplyDeleteI've tested to merge two of your presentations into one document and it works really fine. Just to remind you again, please don't dump HUGE pictures into you presentation - that is the only potential problem I can foresee at the moment!
